Steamed Lobster Tail with Salad

The classic steamed lobster tail may be easier to prepare than you think. It is a classy and elegant dinner for a special occasion, a true delicacy. Lobster contains many beneficial nutrients, and one of them is the high content of Selenium, an essential mineral for thyroid health.

Serving: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium lobster tail
  • 1 bunch of salad mix
  • ¼ cucumber, sliced.
  • 3 cherry tomatoes, halved.
  • 4 black olives, sliced.
  • 1 wedge lemon (to serve)
  • Olive oil (to serve)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Yogurt-based tartar sauce

Instructions:

  1. Mix salad, cucumber, cherry tomatoes and black olives in a salad bowl. Place on a plate.
  2. Using kitchen scissors, cut lobster tail into half.
  3. Bring water to a boil, then place the lobster in a steamer. Steam for 5 minutes.
  4. Take lobster off the steamer and put on top of the salad.
  5. Salt and pepper to taste. Drizzle olive oil and yogurt-based tartar sauce on the lobster.
  6. Serve the steamed lobster with a slice of lemon.

Tip: Salmon and other fish fillets can be a good replacement for lobster
