Grilled Chicken Wings with Spinach

A satisfying and hearty grilled chicken wings recipe perfect for dinner. With a little preparation, this delicious dinner can be ready on your table in 20 mins.

Servings: 1

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken wings, cut into segments
  • 1 bunch English spinach
  • 1 cup mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • ¼ onion, cut to strips
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Marinade:

  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp white wine
  • 1/4 tsp thyme
  • 1/4 tsp oregano

Instructions:

  1. Cut chicken wings into three segments (discard the wingtips, use them to make meat stock).
  2. Marinade wings and store in the fridge overnight.
  3. In medium heat, grill or shallow-fry the wings in a skillet for about 10 mins until well cooked. Using a cooking brush, dab the grilled chicken wings with soy sauce. Scoop wings off the skillet and put aside.
  4. Sautee mushroom, onion and garlic until brown—season with salt and pepper.
  5. Sautee spinach until wilted. Turn heat off, scoops spinach off the skillet. Mix in a spoonful of sauerkraut in the spinach (optional)
  6. Place spinach and wings on a plate. Grilled Chicken Wings are ready to serve.
